MTSU Police cited two people for drug-related violations Thursday in addition to investigating vehicle damage on a campus parking lot and the theft of a porch decoration at the Chi Omega house on Greek Row.

Campus police cited 21-year-old Jane Smith* of Nashville, Tennessee, for possession of drug paraphernalia around 3:30 p.m. Thursday on the parking lot between MT One Stop and the campus softball field.

In a separate incident around 11 p.m. Thursday, campus police issued John Doe*, 20, of Memphis, Tennessee, for marijuana possession on Alumni Drive, on the south side of campus.

Meanwhile, a woman reported that her vehicle had been struck and damaged while it was parked on the parking lot behind the McFarland Building between MTSU Boulevard and Lightning Way. Also, a cement porch decoration has gone missing from the Chi Omega house on Greek Row on the eastern side of campus. According to the incident report, a campus police officer who was reviewing surveillance footage regarding a different incident noticed that the footage showed a suspect taking the decoration from the house.
