Twenty-two Rutherford bridges need repairs, feds say
Twenty-two Rutherford County bridges have deteriorated to the point of structural deficiency, according to the latest data from the Federal Highway Administration. The bridge in the worst shape of all: Smyrna’s Harts Branch Bridge, crossed by nearly 23,000 vehicles a day.
